The Amazing Spiderman Vol. II LP - 1974

The ridiculously abbreviated stories on the back cover are a nice metaphor for this record, where Power Records crammed five Spidey stories onto one LP.

Some of the Spidey poses are clearly lifted from panels by John Romita and Gil Kane; the rest of the artwork is funky in the extreme.

This record was my FAVORITE THING in the ENTIRE WORLD for a long, long time. I had it memorized- Invasion of the Dragon Men, in particular, was the B-O-O-MB. Then one day I spilled yellowe tempera paint all over it and it was ruined. RUINED, I tells ya.

This has made my day!

One of my favorite Spiderman comic books has been The return of the Conquistador. this record really was so awesome, I even spent entire day to read this comic over and over again.

I love this comic, it's hard to believe that I posses the entire collection.
