Produced by Cornel Tanassy, even though I believe the 45" of "Crawler in the Mists" was produced by Arthur Korb. Huh?
Whoever
produced it, this is another one of Power Records' best efforts. All
four stories are pretty true to the Conan character, and feature solid
voice acting and sound effects. And the kick-ass Neal Adams sleeve art doesn't hurt!

Wow. What a beautiful pc. of art.
I remember as a boy listening to the story " Crawler in the Mists "
I was thinking about what an incredible world CONAN lived in.
There is no doubt in my mind that CONAN is the greatest sword and sorcery fantasy/adventure hero of ALL time. Tarzan runs a close 2nd. Sinbad and the rings trilogy are not far off but CONAN is the be all end all.
This is my single favorite Power Records recording. Its beautifully written, acted, and produced, the music and sound effects are terrific, and the narrator is amazing. I think this holds up really well. And the artwork - WOW! That cover practically leaps out, grabs you by the collar, and slaps you around.
By the way...that was me. ;)
