Batman LP Original Art
Here's Neal Adams' original art to the 1976 Batman LP featuring "Gorilla City" and "The Mystery of the Scarecrow Corpse." Nice coloring, though I don't get the idea behind that big white stripe down the center.

I guess the stripe was there to show that Sherlock Holmes and Grodd don't appear in the same Batman story...but man, now that I think of it, wouldn't that be a great one?
I really need to get this album/book set. I have these two stories on my cherished Batman LP, but you can't beat the artwork in this one...inside OR out!

You're probably right, Chris...maybe Neal didn't have time to draw any sort of background so Power Records felt like they had to add SOMETHING.
And yeah, a "Batman and Sherlock Holmes go to Gorilla City" story would have been AMAZING.
WHo does the interior artwork? I dont think that it is Neal Adams on the interior
