Wonder Woman by Dick Giordano


This beautiful, iconic Wonder Woman shot by the late, great Dick Giordano appeared in the 1976 Super DC Calendar. Of course, Power Records fans are familiar with, because it was used on the back cover--albeit significantly changed--for the one of the Wonder Woman LPs:

I'll always maintain that Giordano had a better handle on women than Adams did. Not that Adams was a slouch, but Giordano was master of the female form. Right up there with John Romita. No doubt it stems from all the romance comics they did!

This image makes my brain cue up the Wonder Woman song from the Tifton version of the Justice League of America record :-)
