The Incredible Hulk - At Bay

Another of the later period Power reissues, the subtitle "At Bay" was dropped entirely with some new(?) art created for the sleeve. Does anyone actually have one of these?

For some reason, Power Records re-purposed some of their Spider-Man and Hulk book-and-record sets. They retained the inside contents but gave them new, generally less Marvel-y, covers. The mustard-colored background really brings the excitement!

As I've said repeatedly here, Power Records could re-purpose with the best of 'em. Audio tracks appeared on 45s, LPs, and any multitude of combinations thereof.

Here are four Marvel ones, all of which featuring stories we've talked about here before. Those bottom two look like art by John Romita or Ross Andru traced over by someone else(s).

Produced by Arthur Korb, written by someone named W.K. Wells who was apparently big enough to get his/her name on the record.

Not a bad set of stories, but nothing here is as compelling or memorable as The Hulk: At Bay. Maybe that's because that was taken from an actual Hulk comic, and this LP appears to be all-new stories.

The sleeve art is uncredited, but it looks very Rich Buckler/Dick Giordano to me.

On of my favorites growing up, if kind of a strange story to adapt--it being a middle chapter of an ongoing story. Hulk like One-And-Dones!
