Superman LP - 1978

Superman held the record as the DC star who headlined the most Power Records LP--a total of four, each with their own spiffy sleeve art, this time by Neal Adams (front) and Dick Giordano (back).

"Alien Creatures" was released as its own Book and Record 45" set, "Mxyzptlk-Up Menace" was released as 45" record, no accompanying comic.

I have a copy of 'The mxyztplk-up menace' in a 33 1/3. Still in' it's jacket. Actually just found it today.

I think the back cover is Rich Buckler pencils and Giordano inks.
(Looks a lot like the Superman/Shazam Treasury art.)
The interior art for "Mxyzptlk" is Curt Swan pencils, and I'm not sure whose inks.

Mxyzptlk-Up Menace was released on an LP with two other stories. I haven't listened to it in years-- I think it's still in my mother's garage. One of the other stories was a Luthor; I cannot remember the third. Same image front & back on the sleeve; Supes against a pink (red?) background, insets of Luthor, Mxy and the third villain (Grodd maybe?)

I guess I have to visit my mother to find that.
